Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.

Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.

The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).

For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

Monday headaches could be the result of too late nights or too much partying on the weekends. Are you getting enough sleep? I understand how you hate pills -- I hate them myself. But you're saying you want something, and other than a pain reliever, I can't think of anything, other than a preventive measure such as a proper diet, no alcohol, plenty of rest, etc. However, if you have a medical condition, such as sinus problems, a respiratory infection, or other illness, you may have to face the fact that if you want relief, you just might have to take pills. They aren't all bad, and sometimes can make a difference between suffering and feeling better. That choice is yours.

Not enough sleep?

Hungry headache? I get them occasionally on Mondays if I eat lots of junk over the weekend and then back to eating better on Monday.

ok. Do you get these headaches before or after you eat? It could be a migraine. Are you sensitive to light or sound (another indicator of a migraine).
Have you been consuming significant quantites of caffeine lately and have recently stopped? That would be a side effect of caffeine withdrawl.

You could also be experiencing the pain associated with wisdom teeth. I know that it sounds strange but that is common when they are about ready to come in.

Take Motrin and wear glasses outside. If pain continues contact doctor and get a catscan.

blurred vision is a sign of diabeties (SP) but the headache could be caused by all sorts of things. lack of electrolytes or magnisium. im a migraine sufferer and i take a slow-mag magnesium chloride pill each night before bed to prevent the onset. you might want to get some gatorade it has electrolytes that will restore you. also, take a cooold shower and apply the cold water to the spot that hurts. if you continue to get the headache itd be a good idea to seek professional help. could be something serious.

It sounds very lame but try it next time you have a headache ... squeeze the loose part of you skin between your thumb and your pointer finger hold it for 10 seconds and the release....keep doing it until the headache goes away.
