All cars must pass an inspection before they can start their practice session. Currently they inspect cars in order of their positon in the standings. This means that the teams that need the practice the most have to sit there and wait while the best teams are out on the track running laps. All the new teams have a huge disadvantage and it makes it even harder to get a car good enough to qualify on time with so few positions left after the top 35 teams are locked in. What is your opinion on what NASCAR could do to remedy this?

Mike C, apparently you are not real good with understanding the question. Why do people that are so ignorant think their opinion matters? Answer: because they don't realize how stupid they are.

Inspect all cars before practice starts, or have more people doing the inspection, and somehow streamline the inspection, like having the cars roll through stations instead having the inspection in spot. or expand the practice session

They should have it so everybody has to pass inspection before anyone can pratice. Some would say this would waste time but why can't Nascar start inspecting the cars 2 - 3 hours earlier and then every car would have an equal opportunity to have some practice time.

Nascar tries to be fair but that doesn't all ways happen.also if some of the cars fail inspection the first time they have to fix it then try again.
All the teams are trying to gain an advantage so they try to get things by nascar sometimes it is so bad that they fine them other times you can just fix it then go back through.
So what I am saying is if all the cars were to pass tech without modifications than there would be plenty of time for all cars to tech before practice.

yea, it's not fair, but i guess thats what comes with being a new team. my favorite driver is on a new team, and I wouldnt mind seeing the teams out of the top 35 having more practice time. Perhaps NASCAR should finish all the inspections before allowing practice to start. that way everyone has equal time on the track.
btw, just wanted to add that i loved the first comment on here. "nascar is not a sport." thank you for that brilliant piece of insight. wow. and why do people come onto the nascar section of yahoo answers just to bad-mouth it. seriously, find something valuable to do with your life. idiots.

It is time that NASCAR goes to "kit" engines. These would be sealed engines built by one manufacturer Installed at the track and run then removed at the end of practice or testing and inspected by NASCAR .
