I have a 2002 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 4x4. It has the 4.7 liter V8. I was wondering what the stock weight of the vehicle is. Thanks for the help.

Look at the sticker inside the driver's door or door jam. It says GVW and a number.

will the 4.7l engine harness mate to the truck --- Not a chance. An OBD2-equipped vehicle has about 125 (give or take) more wires coming off the engine computer than an OBD1 vehicle. Where do you think they just go?

Well my club cab dakota R/T weighs about 4200 pounds, so figure you're a couple hundred pounds more, maybe like 4400-4500 pounds.

look on the inside of your driver door , there should be a tag with information about your weight and tires and what not
