That's the whole point of Christianity, Mr. Smith.

did you know that some of the christian denominations teach that there is no guarantee of heaven as a reward.that one cannot know for sure whether he has earned heaven until he gets there.therefore no blessed assurance.often the ones you call "fanatical "christians come from these sects. They are working their way to heaven!
to answer your question though. If God said No more heaven as a reward! when you die You will be dead. I still would,nt change my lifestyle.since i got saved 20 some years ago my life has had meaning and has been reward enough for what God has asked from me.(very little) in compare to what he,s done for me.
I have the peace that passeth understanding .and a child like faith that Gods will whatever it is for me is the right thing.

Yes i would because i'd be a better person. and even if there was no reward in heaven i could still reap the benefits of being a christian while here on earth.

The reward of Christianity is Christ, which we can have in this life. The Bible is more about living this life than the next. The answer is YES>

They would. They follow their religion because they were indoctrinated as children. Children cannot think rationally and are highly suggestible to what their parents teach them. No matter the actual subject, reward, etc, a child will believe it if they're preyed upon early enough.

The question is irrelevant. If there was no heaven, then the entire structure of the religion would collapse, since it is based around eternal joy and progression. If that whole aspect of it was gone, then what's the point?

Hmmmmm....thinking.....that is a tough one. Too much of involved question for me to answer.
1. If we had hope for this world only, then our faith would be a waste of time (1 Corinthians 15).
2. Christianity (true, biblical, love based) works here on earth.
My thought:
If Christ did not rise from the dead than Christianity would not exist today. It would of died with the disciples.

Good question.
So many have said here that they are Christians so that they can go to heaven. Take that away and what would their reason be?

First of All , God said we Will have rewards in heaven for doing his will here on earth , witnessing ,pastoring,etc...As long as I have eternal life with God in heaven that's good enough for me
