Ok, i met this great girl i really, really, really like at work, a couple months ago, and we went out a few weeks ago, but i've been wanting a second date but things always come up, and im getting frustrated. For the past two weeks we couldn't go out because her eye was hurting pretty bad, and after she was feeling better we were suppose to go out 3 days ago, but her grandpa passed away. So shes really sad , and she said we cant go out this week. Im wondering what i should do to make her feel better. And how long should i wait before asking her out again?

Well if she agreed to go out with you again then I'd just give her some time to get past her grandfather dieing. If she didn't like you then she probably would not have agreed to go out with you a second time. As far as the eye hurting thing, maybe she was scared that her eye looked ugly and she didn't want you to see her like that. If she continues to cancel plans then just move on. It might be her way of telling you she really isn't that interested.

Well maybe you should buy her a card, flowers and take her some food to try to cheer her up. Ask her if there is anything you can do to help her or her family. Wait for another week before you ask her out, and maybe just a calm evening at home with a dvd and take out is what she needs, but if she wants to just go out and forget about everything for awhile, then take her out and give her the time of her life!

Hate to break your heart, but her eye was hurting??? Sounds like she is just not that into you. If it has been a couple of months and she cant find time to work you in she does not like you. Look at it this way if you really liked someone you would go out of your way to find time to be with them. Just give her space and maybe she will come around but i would not pursue her anymore. You are probably to good for her anyway.

Losing someone you care about is never a fun thing. Give her time to pick herself up again before asking her out again. However, you should do what you can to help her cope with it as best as you can. I'm sure she'll appreciate it.

i'm not lots of a dater yet i might wager 2-3 days AFTER the 1st date. once you call her communicate for a jiffy and then casually throw in what are your plans for this weekend. as quickly as she replies then say even though that's you purchased.

give her time to cope with her loss, but be open for her, make it known to her that you're willing to be there for her. Then once she's comfortable again, suggest that she make a time for you guys to go out, so that she can do it once she's feeling up to it.
