Hey Now...
I have been to both Peter Lugers and for Porterhouse it is amazin. Dont ask for menus, they will give you a hard time,
just order the creamed spinach & roasted potatos along with your steak.
Waiters are a bit crabby but funny at times too ...
Go for an early seating or the wait will be 2 hours or so.
Ruth Chris is my choice for Filte Mignon, they cook it in 1500degree ovens in butter.
OMG its good!!!
Sparks, BLT's, Dylans & the Old Homestead are first rate too..
The Old Homestead has a large variety of Kobe Beef...
Expensive as hell but worth the BIG BUCKS!!!
Sparks has very good prime sirloin steak and killer roquefort dressing,
BLT's has great ribeye and excellent sauces for the steaks.
IMO...
Go with Peter Lugers.

I know I am not spelling it right , but my husband loved Peter Luger's. I believe it is in Brooklyn. It has been a while since he has been there and he still compares every steak he has with that restaurant.
