Do you mean
Jewish=nationality or Jewish=religion?
These are seperate things. There are a lot of Jewish people who follow Jesus. They are called Messianic Jews or just Christians.

You could change your religion - but if you think religion is simply pick and choose as casually as you change your socks, you don't understand the concept and it becomes something trivial or a trendy thing to do.

You can change your religion but you cant change who you are and what you are - a Jew. And that my friend is honorable- ASSUMING you are Jewish and not a typical Internet Troll just looking to get people stirred up.

According to Jewish Law you are not allowed to convert (I know because I am Jewish). The reason being that Judaism is more than a religion (it's almost like a tribe). I am really disturbed to hear this question. What questions and concerns do you have with Judaism. I'd just like to know what is wrong with Judaism? It makes me sad to see "i need out of Israel!!!!" If you want to discuss this you can email me (datwood91@yahoo.com).

Why would you need to change your religion to leave Israel? there are far more Jews in the US alone than there. Don't even bother counting the rest of the world.

Why does everyone blame their problems on religion? Accept some responsibility people!

If you are borne by a Hebrew woman, you are Hebrew. If you change to another religion you are a Hebrew, who practices another religion.

I doubt your veracity in that Israel has more Hebrews wanting to come in than leave, and they do not stint on giving passports to leave to nay who wish them. . . unless they are trying to leave to duck military service.

If anyone could convince young Muslims that they won't get 72 virgins for killing themselves along with Israeli men, women and Children, Israel would be an excellent place to live.

You can leave Israel, Jewish or not. You don't have to change religions to leave the country. You can changeyour religion as well, if that is your desire, but Israel does not require Jews to live there.

Of course you can but it may be very difficult if you are a minor. And even if you are adult, your family may exert pressure on you to stay with your family's religion.

Check out the Jews for Jesus website. You may be able to get some help there.

What does changing your religion have to do with leaving Israel? Hop a plane and fly out - you don't have to "change" anything.
