Hi Rhiamon,
You have an interesting name. I really enjoy having discourse among each of the differring religious members. It is not necessary for those members to continue to bicker and fight. It would be great if we could all discuss religious matters on an intellectual level. I do not believe that the separation wouyld actually be a good thing anyway as a number of people would be doing the same thing on any site that they wanted to anyway. Have a great weekend!!

I'm sorry but I don't think that the Religion & Spirituality section should be 'divided' more ... because there is much to be learned from all of the 'other' religions than the one I 'belong to' and I don't want to be 'cut off' by having to 'know' what I want to 'learn' ... and wouldn't we also then have to have a spot in R&S for 'atheists' and 'agnostics' ... since they seem to be the ones who have 'the most to say' in R&S.

No. I think that this forum would be much better if people can ask more sincere questions instead of trying to belittle each other's beliefs. If people were to be more nicer to each other things would run smoother then what they are being ran right now.

No one would stay in "Their" section. And just like the Lesbian homosectual section, and women's health section, the Horrid Fundie Xians would be in their condemning everyone else to hell and picking fights. It's probably better all around as a hodgepodge.

It wouldn't help. People who want to antagonize would simply go to whatever section and do so. At least this way, people have the chance to learn something about other beliefs instead of just trumpeting their own.

I think it might be nice to have a general R&S, then specific categories.. some people might only want to correspond with those of their own faith, and it might be easier on them to do that. However, I'd still like there to be a general R&S category for those of all faiths and atheists/agnostics to hang out and correspond.

I think it would help organize the questions more efficiently, and it would make things easier to find, but I don't think it would solve arguments.

Mmm, there should at least be a separate section for "theology". How's life as a Wiccan Unitarian? (Or did you join the UU?)

What arguments? I see people making fun of people who believe in magic, but I haven't really read any arguments.
