Should we have sub-divisions of each religion? Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Satanism, Paganism, Mormons, etc?
Would this help to resolve the constant arguments? Or, would it just make picking fights with other religious people a lot easier?

I think this is a GREAT idea! You would still have the regulars who like to incite arguments and insult, but it would sure make sorting through topics of interest much easier. You've got my vote.

Differences breed contempt. In my sincere view there should be a composite category for religion and spirituality section as it is now. In the present day world we need UNITY and NOT diversity. I don't think each religion teaches different themes. In fact all religions teach the same Truth in different wordings suited to the particular place and timings. All religions teach only LOVE and Tolerance. By having more sub-divisions, the themes become diversified and we may not be able to appreciate the cosmopolitan views. nagarajan.

No because people would just go to other sections to talk trash unfortunately. The best thing to do is to find another section to hang out in. This is why they say "don't talk about politics or religion at dinner parties." Its true. Its always divisive and bitter.

surely, it fairly is been particularly effective in information the place they are coming from. we could comprehend the different factors of view for a extra useful information, however we would possibly not consider them. I do discover perplexing the occasional insult from specific atheists, which i won't be able to comprehend why they are on R&S, yet i'm happy they are cutting-edge for the comparable motives mentioned above.

We should just fold the Religion & Spirituality into the Mythology & Folklore section.

I don't think it is necessary. In a website about "answers" talking about religion is just silly, since religion is not about answers at all.
