I just started going out with this guy last week[lets call him joe] and i really like him and I'm pretty sure he likes me also but we barely ever talk. Around his good friends he talks a fair amount, but when he's not around his friends he's sort of quiet...but he's really not shy except when he's around me! I mean sometimes we start talking and we can't stop around eachother but then other times it's just sort of silence. We don't have any classes together in school except for band so I don't really see him too much but his locker is right next to mine. He used to act all perverted around me, but he said he would change for me and he's really nice now and i like him a lot. I just don't know what to do! Should i dump him or is there normally this communication thing going on the first week? He's my first *real* boyfriend so I'm not really sure how this kind of thing is. [i'm 14 by the way]
what should I do? Any advice would be MUCH appreciated. kthanks. =]

Give him a few weeks. He's probably nervous and doesn't have much experience with lady relationships. Don't dump him if you like him, that is SO junior high. :)

Unless he starts acting like a jerk don't dump him. He probably gets nervous around you and that really tightens up speech. Give him a while to get comfortable then if it dosen't improve talk to him about it.

Oh my gosh! I had the same problem. Well, you should just talk about things that you talk with your own friends. Because when he knows your comfortable around him, he can get comfortable around you. I think the main problem is that he can't resist you ;] or he's probably tongue twisted.
