I am having exceleration problems with my 95 Buick Riviera. Any suggestions on what the problem may be?

No trouble codes found. I also replaced my fuel filter and the spark plugs are firing just fine. When car is in idle, the rpms are just fine but when car is being driven and when I excelerate, there seems to be a lack of power. Doesn't go over 50 mph.

Is it possibly your transmission? Will not shift into the next gear?

imaybe check your tranny fluid. Or if there is a rotten egg smell when you are driving then it is your catalitic converter.
