my maltese puppy is potty trained and is really good about letting me know she needs to go out. but lately she has been reliving herself on my bed(which is low enough for her to get on) its really frustrating. could this be a sign of stress? she just started doing it. i usually have the door closed but the last time it was right after we got home and i had just let her out but she acted if she didnt need to go so we went inside and she ran off and did "that". WHAT SHOULD I DO?

You might want to think about crate trainning you dog. If she is fully potty trained then she is probaly marking. There are three types of urinating that have nothing to do with potty trainning: Excitement urinating, submissive urinating, and marking. My best advice to you is to try crate training.

Female dogs like to urinate on beds. It smells strongly of human sent & they like to mark it. Puppies tend to do it more often because they feel secure in the softness of a bed & want mark the territory that makes them feel safe. You must keep the door shut & if you don't & she gets on the bed, that is your mistake.

Dog's do get stressed and even get separation anxiety. It sounds more as if she is trying to get you to pay attention to her. Bad attention to a dog is better than no attention
