Not at all, it simply shows your desire for closeness and intimacy, two things which can make people feel very good in a relationship.
I assume that you're asking this because your "man" may not always like to hold you while you sleep.
If that's the case, there are some things you may want to consider.
If he does sometimes and does not other times, it may not be because he does not like to. Sometimes, depending on the position a person sleeps, they may not be physically comfortable over long periods of time. Though he may like to hold you, his body may be in a position that could restrict blood flow, to an arm/hand maybe, or in a position he may not be comfortable falling asleep in.
This could also be the case if he likes to hold/have contact with you during the day while doing normal activities, but does not do so during the night while sleeping.
If he just doesn't like to have much physical contact period, then that's another subject and is probably intimacy issues.
Either way, sometimes pushing for something like this can actually create distance in a relationship, because the other person will push back. Let them know that you like doing this one thing, but also that it is not the most important thing in the relationship. In other words be flexible and try to compromise.
Hope that helps.

Speaking as a guy, it is a great thing!! I love to hold my woman while we are sleeping, and she loves to be held!! Granted, after we have been asleep for a while I usually roll over (or she does) because we never wake up in the same position we started sleeping in. I say that your desire is a major good thing!! Keep on thinking that!!
