Why don't you believe in Jehovah God your Creator? Psalms 83:18?
If you don't believe in Jehovah you have that right because you were created with the gift of free will. We are a beautiful creation and when you see a Baby grow inside a Woman that is so precious !!! It's so obvious to see that an intelligent mind is behind that. DNA is amazing, we are all different and made in Jehovah's image. Jesus is Jehovah's Son who sits at his Fathers right hand in the heavens. Don't be so quick to say there is no GOD, please don't sell yourself short. Man has dominated man to his injury with what they think is truth when the Bible explains why we are here and what our hope is for the future. It's funny how man can live to be 100 or 120 years old and be considered an expert at what they think they know. But Jehovah God has always been and what HE teaches us in the scriptures and through his Son Jesus is for our best interest. What are your thoughts?

I'm asking all of you why you don't believe.
My Wife is 28 weeks and we are expecting our first child, a Son :O) When we get a ultra sound it's so precious to see his little life forming. How can you not give credit to a CREATOR? You not believing does not hurt me at all, I just wanted to know why you don't believe.

I respect all your answers. I'm not thinned skinned and believe me my feelings are not hurt. Like I said before you not believing doesn't effect me at all. It's your life :O)

You claimed we have a creator then listed absolutely no credible evidence of a creation.

Show that there is a creation and a creator is the logical conclusion.

Added:

Congradulations on being a father. :) You ask why I don't believe -- simply put: there is no credible evidence to indicate the existence of a deity.

You look at your baby's ultrasounds and you find your breath totally taken away by the complexity of what is happening. To claim that this is evidence is a logical fallicy known as 'argument from incredulity', which is 'I do not understand how this can happen, so it must be '.

As much as I like to see evangelism on the internet, I don't think your method is good enough. Your line of reasoning should not start with the Bible because those who do not believe often will not even consider opening a Bible to bother looking up your reference.
You have to say something more compelling to begin with.

The belief in "god" seems to be ubiquitous through the ages.

We know, for example, that the ancient Egyptians believed in their gods so fervently that they built massive structures like the Great Pyramid -- still today one of the largest and most enduring human constructions ever created. Despite that fervor, however, we know with complete certainty today that the Egyptian gods were imaginary. We don't build pyramids anymore and we do not mummify our leaders.

More recently we know that tens of millions of Romans worshiped Zeus and his friends, and to them they built magnificent temples. The ruins of these temples are popular tourist attractions even today. Yet we know with complete certainty that these gods were imaginary because no one worships Zeus any more.

Much more recently, we know that the Aztec civilization believed in their gods so intensely that they constructed huge temples and pyramids. In addition, Aztecs were so zealous that they were sacrificing hundreds of human beings to their gods as recently as the 16th century. Despite the intensity, however, we know today that these gods were completely imaginary. The Aztecs were insane to be murdering people for their gods. Killing a person has no effect on rainfall or anything else. We all know that. If the Aztec gods were real, we would still be offering sacrifices to them.

Today's "God" is just as imaginary as were these historical gods. The fact that millions of people worship a god is meaningless.

The "God" and the "Jesus" that Christians worship today are actually amalgams formed out of ancient pagan gods. The idea of a "virgin birth", "burial in a rock tomb", "resurrection after 3 days" and "eating of body and drinking of blood" had nothing to do with Jesus. All of the rituals in Christianity are completely man-made. Christianity is a snow ball that rolled over a dozen pagan religions. As the snowball grew, it freely attached pagan rituals in order to be more palatable to converts. You can find accounts like these in popular literature:

"The vestiges of pagan religion in Christian symbology are undeniable. Egyptian sun disks became the halos of Catholic saints. Pictograms of Isis nursing her miraculously conceived son Horus became the blueprint for our modern images of the Virgin Mary nursing Baby Jesus. And virtually all the elements of the Catholic ritual - the miter, the altar, the doxology, and communion, the act of "God-eating" - were taken directly from earlier pagan mystery religions."

"Nothing in Christianity is original. The pre-Christian God Mithras - called the Son of God and the Light of the World - was born on December 25, died, was buried in a rock tomb, and then resurrected in three days. By the way, December 25 is also the birthday or Osiris, Adonis, and Dionysus. The newborn Krishna was presented with gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Even Christianity's weekly holy day was stolen from the pagans."
It is extremely hard for a Christian believer to process this data, but nonetheless it is true.

You throw out a lot of baseless assumptions and act as though they are fact. Why don't you turn up some evidence before you blather on about things you can't prove? The bible's only proof that it is credible is the bible, and circular reasoning is proof of nothing. So bringing up the bible isn't helping your case at all.

There is no god(s).
The concept of god is a human one to explain the natural world and all of mans shortcomings.
The bible explains nothing. It is merely a book of christian mythology.
I look at the natural world and it is so obvious that no god had a part in any of it

Wow Jason. That's great that God gave me the free will not to believe in him. But can I ask you a question? Why didn't God give Muslims the free will not to believe in him. If a Muslim professes disbelief they get stoned to death. Kind of a double standard that God is setting, don't you think?

My thoughts?

That what you quoted is a load of crackers from an outdated book of mythology.

You are welcome to believe as you chose. So am I.

edit -- I've had three kids; saw their sweet little bodies on the ultrasound, felt them squirm around inside my uterus. Credit goes not to any "creator" but to my man and myself for making them (which was admittedly a lot of fun!) and to evolution for making me a mammal with a womb.

Why don't you go out and do some real field service instead of trolling here.

Way too many apostates hang around here, including me

I will pray to Satan that you find the REAL truth

"Why don't you believe in Jehovah God your Creator?"
Because he isn't.

"If you don't believe in Jehovah you have that right..."
There you go. End of discussion. Go away. We don't need what you're selling. It's the same old song and dance.
