Apart from the facts kids that age shouldn't be dating? Not really. Many couples have a few years in between them. The only thing is that the younger one should watch themselves to make sure they are not overwhelmed by the older, most likely more experienced one. After all, the maturity levels are different among the two, so it not advisable, but if the younger one is mature for her age then it is ok.

Yes, there is something wrong with it. At 17 you need to be looking forward toward the future, toward going to college, having a career, and being successful at something. If you are dating/screwing around with someone who is nearly three years younger than yourself, you are ignoring your future at a very critical age. Think about it, in much less than a year 17 will turn to 18.

Now, if you are in a serious relationship (ie sexual) and 17 turns to 18, now you are comitting a felony every time you have intercourse.

Also, you have to wonder why someone who is 17 can't find a person at their level and age to date. Sounds like someone preying on the more innocent, younger person to get what they want.

All of this is true - but since you are in the middle of it - you will probably react to what I'm saying like I'm the parents in a "Romeo & Juliet" story. "You can NEVER keep us apart!" "But Daddy, I love him!"

It's time to grow up a little.

it's ok but speaking from experiance it's not worth the trouble. I did the same thing started dating a 15 year old when I was 17 and then I turn 18 although it can work for a bit in the long run I suggest against it but it can work I have done it.

I like the 2 year rule in high school because it just works well, but you should not be all wrapped up in a relationship anyway. If you are just testing the waters, you can date someone 3 years your senior. But it is lots more fun to NOT have a boyfriend in high school!

Only when one of you reach the legal age and the other is still considered a minor. besides that who cares more that 85% of the marrages in the country the Men and woman are seperated by more than 2 years.

I don't see it as a problem. My question would be ,Is the 15 year old mature enough to handle the relationship. If so ..enjoy!

Not really, I mean as long as the parents are okay with it I see nothing wrong with it. He's still in school and he's only a couple years older.

No problem with it at all. Better than 89 year olds with 23 year olds. Go for it!
