Science is limited to the physical. Your soul is eternal. The Bible deals with what is eternal where science cannot venture. The physical realm will pass away, and science will pass away with it. What you want to do is latch onto that which will last forever, and that is the Word of God.

Science deals with understanding and comprehending creation. Religion deals with the understanding and comprehension of the Creator.

Religion won´t take u really far, and science is bound to discovers and assumptions.

There really is no difference. God is the ultimate scientist. How else could he have created the universe. I think the question should be what is the difference between God's science and mans?

Religion describes what God did and why He did it. Science is man's attempt to explain how He did it.

Science is verifiable and evidence based.

Religion is a bunch of guys sitting around a bonfire getting high off mushrooms and telling stories about what causes thunder and why it gets dark at night. And then these stories being passed on by mouth, and then written down and followed unthinkingly by billions of "reasonable" people.

Religion deals with discovering cosmic purpose. Science deals with discovering cosmic function. Both will eventually lead one back to the same ultimate source.
