I am 17 years old and I work at a fast food resterant. My girlfriend keeps pressuring me to get a real career. I keep telling her that I want to wait until after I get a college degree. She wants to know how I am supposed to support our family, then. Family? Is she pregnant? We've never done the dirty deed, so does that mean she's cheating on me?

she might be one of those people who thinks that animals are people... and she is thinking about adopting a cat... getting a cat is the first step towards a real relationship.. on wait getting a cat is code for getting to first base...

she wants to get to first base with you!!!

booma boom

p.s. booma boom is not responsible for any slaps to the face which may be caused by trying to french your girlfriend..

It sounds like she is speaking in general terms. Maybe she sees herself being with you for a long time this includes having a family. Maybe she doesn't think you are really going to go to college either. Maybe she just wants to know whether or not you will attempt to take care of her and the family in the future but as for the pregnancy question..yeah its best to ask her and if you don't feel comfortable asking, wait a while, it isn't but so long a pregnant girl can hide that she is pregnant.

She means your future family. If you were to stay together. She is obviously thinking far ahead, and thinking you may not be adequate for her future plans. All of which seems like bull to me since you are only 17 and at least you have a job. Tell her to chill and take you for who and what you are, or to go find a business man to support her imaginary family.

it sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders: you are in high school, you have a part-time job (it doesn't matter that its in the fast-food business!) and you haven't done the deed! it's entirely up to you when you have a "real" career. you want to wait after college. that's your decision. it sounds like to me that either she's cheating and pregnant, cheating or hoping that you guys get married. i'd say get rid of her. you know what you want out of life!

If you didnt do it then she cant be pregnant. And she wuldnt tell u that she was becuase then it would be obvious she was cheating on you. No, I think she means in future, if you stay together and have a family. Looks like she's planning for the long term:)

No, she isn't pregnant us women sometimes say that but we focus on the future or a family could be you and her. If she was pregnant she wouldnt hint it to u.
