I had a 2004 Tundra now i have a 2006 I likeed the 04 and like the 06 not many changes. but i think they messed the body style up on the 2007. its ugly to me, i fell Toyota should have kept a similar body style full size 1/2 ton tundra and then built a bigger truck like they made of the tundra, for a 3/4 ton truck sorta like ford has f150 and f250 so on

The redesigned Tundra shines in pretty much every single category compared with the domestics. I do agree that the look isn't so great, but you know for sure that it is huge, powerful, and reliable.

I dont really like Toyota, as I have found they are making junk today, but I still think the Tundra is pretty good looking. There is no question why the Silverado has won all the awards, its what a Toyota used to be, reliable, refined, car-like, put with American power. If you want the details and websites with evidence that Toyota has slipped email me.

P.S. New Saturns are some of the coolest and best vehicles out there. They have looks of European touring cars, because thats what they are (rebadged, somewhat reskined Opels). The Aura has defeated the Camry in looks, quality, and value. Saturn has also switched to conventional metals, so there cars no longer have huge gaps in between the panels. Go see for yourself

I'm not so much concerned with styling since Toyota usually focuses on styling that doesn't offended.

I'm personally offended that they used an open "C" channel truck frame while everyone else has gone the stronger route with a fully boxed frame.

Toyota also said in a press interview, that they purposely kept the body panel gaps large, to get it a more masculine look (really, it was done to compensate for the flexing that the "C" frame will cause). But if this is their thinking, then that means that Saturns are some of the butches vehicles out there to them...

The new Tundra has everything that makes a full size truck great. The Tacoma can fill the small to midsize market. I'd like to see the 4.7 in the Tacoma. Give Toyota a few more years and they will own the truck market if they choose to. However when gas hits $3.50 again the market for the big trucks will be tough.
