Probably would depend on your location. Discharging of a firearm is illegal where I live.
Course, I'd wait until they decided to land and step out before I shoot them. Shooting at fast-movers would get little results, but most soft targets will not enjoy being shot.

Hello, it's called a blimp. Keep your rifle in your trunk. If you fire into the air, the bullet does eventually come down and it could hurt someone or something. Although you likely wouldn't get caught if you are firing a weapon into the air, it is probably illegal, especially within city limits.

It depends on which state you live in. Each state has a different season for UFO shooting.

You NEVER shoot at anything until you positively sure what you are shooting at, and you must have good cause to shoot at it.

It is only legal if you use the properly government mandated ray-gun.

Be careful -- firing a gun in a residential area, regardless of what you're shooting at, is a crime.
