I saw a large silver saucer shaped craft one day hovering right above a building and have put my rifle in the trunk. if I see another one.I am going to shoot at it.

Probably would depend on your location. Discharging of a firearm is illegal where I live.
Course, I'd wait until they decided to land and step out before I shoot them. Shooting at fast-movers would get little results, but most soft targets will not enjoy being shot.

Hello, it's called a blimp. Keep your rifle in your trunk. If you fire into the air, the bullet does eventually come down and it could hurt someone or something. Although you likely wouldn't get caught if you are firing a weapon into the air, it is probably illegal, especially within city limits.

You NEVER shoot at anything until you positively sure what you are shooting at, and you must have good cause to shoot at it.
