If evil is born out of man's ignorance to the truth, could the same ignorance create an evil entity which is capable of independent thought?

Who said that evil was born out of ignorance. Certainly much of evil comes from ignorance. But I have known plenty of people who, in my mind were evil, and they also knew better, at least at one time.

Jesus said that even Satan believes that Jesus is the Savior. In fact, I would go a step further and say that Satan knows that Jesus is the Savior and yet he continues to perpetrate evil wherever he goes.

Evil is not born out of ignorance, evil is the result of the creation of good, since good must have something by which it can define itself: up creates down.
