When they are not even related or do not care about them. But continue to use them to advance their cause as if Native Americans were here just only yesterday. Why are people so content to dwell on 300 0r 400 years ago. If they so unhappy why don't they just move to a more suitable country since this one is suitable for them.

Its all done to make thier case sound better, they ( the illegals ) know they are wrong. So what do we do, do we go back and undo every war ever fought ? Keep in mind that no one would be where they are now, no one. Not even those in Mexico.

Why would Natives or their allies move to a more suitable country. This is their country!!! It was stolen from them.
Any group can have allies, people who speak up for their rights. And this is a good thing unless they take away Native's rights to self-determination, to make decisions for themselves. And there are several reasons people dwell on the past, the main one you should understand is that people can't heal the past if problems are still occuring today. And there is still a lot of oppression and cultural ignorance that happens today.

Everything I´ve seen shows that Native Americans don´t support illegal immigration and do not feel any special kinship or sympathy towards illegal immigrants so it´s ironic that anyone is doing this in the first place. You don´t see the people who say "we´re all illegal except for the Native Americans" volunteering to make good on their opinions and leave the US do you?

I am a member of a federally recognized tribe the Nez Perce. No one speaks for me, but me. If a person does not know anything about tribes and their outlook on immigration they have no right to speak on behalf of us. I have my beliefs and others have their beliefs which might differ from mine. My tribe lived on our land which was North Eastern Oregon,North Central Idaho and a small part of Washington. Now our reservation is North Central Idaho only. In our native language we do have a word for the Mexican people since the border of Mexico went into Oregon. If you are talking about Native Americans moving to another country if we disagree with you, not going to happen.

I am but one native, and always post for one native. I am not going anywhere. If you are using Y!Answers as an example, natives like me, are probably less than 1% of the regular participants here. Since our numbers are not prevalent on here, many choose to comfortably, and most of the time ignorantly speak for us. There are four natives of different tribes including me, one half-breed that I know posts on here, and of course the pretendian mixed-breeds that are 1/8 native or less are very opinionated.

People who do not belong to a Native American tribe, and who use the native card for the basis of their argument whether pro or anti, do not care about Native Americans but are just using us to beat a dead horse over rights to land.

I have no idea what you are even trying to ask. I think you mean "spokespersons," and to me it looks like you are trying to say that Native folks aren't still here. When they are. And they've dealt with a lot of crap. And deserve to have spokespeople among their own, and others outside who will gladly side with them and willing to learn from them what the issues are that need to be dealt with. So why not?

I particularly have in no way heard of the call Cree, yet I particularly have straightforward various Dakota's and the two boys and ladies. And none have close by American, that i understand of. yet, you won't be able to constantly tell by their visual attraction.

If you will review history and if you will review the broken promises that the American Government made to the Indian Nations, you will begin to understand why Compassionate citizens care about what is happening to the Indians. They are still suffering from continual breaking promises -- for example, the Indian Reservations are supposed to be self-governing and are soverign in the United States. However, that doesn't stop our federal government from still trying to take what little is left of the promises and lands that were theirs before they were ours. I do not support Mexico's claim to the United States but I certainly support the Native American Indian's claims to the land that we violently took from them, with no respect, no benefits and oppressive and suppressive laws that make it illegal for a white person to marry an American Indian in states like California. Other states still have laws on the books that prohibit citizens from serving alcohol to American Indians and they are not even allowed to own guns in some areas. Check out the lack of funding for their schools. Check out where they live and then talk to their chiefs and tribal councils.
Then review how Native American Indians help to build some of our tallest skyscrapers and how they fight for this country in our military. They certainly show much more loyalty to the USA than all these law-breaking, money grubbing, benefit taking, lying, cheating, stealing, gang-banging, drug dealing, identity stealing, illegal aliens who are predominately from Mexico and whose motives are extremely questionable.
One of the main reasons I support the Native American Indians' claims are that they have always had respect for the land and treat it as sacred. They don't believe in waste and use/used all the possible parts of the animals they killed for food. Instead of learning from the Indians, we treated them as savages and as inhuman. That's really hard for many of us to forgive ourselves and our ancestors for theat major cruelty.

Today, our government is allowing our land to be taken away by illegal aliens who have absolutely no respect for our laws and they really can't be trusted. I would trust a Native American with my life long before I would trust an illegal alien to even mow my lawn.

Besides that, who would listen if we citizens didn't stand up and be counted for the Native American Indians? Do you think our government would listen to the Native Americans? When was the last time a President made a trip to Indian Reservations and tried to talk Chief to Chief? God Bless them and I wish I could learn all they could teach me about taking care of the land and the animals on it and how to live without waste.

Because Native Americans still suffer injustice. It's called having compassion. They were screwed over in the beginning and deserve much more than what they have. This was their country first, and we took it from them.
