Help! I'm 13 years old and I was just instant messaging. This guy added me and I don't even know him but I accepted anyway. He asked for my name and I told him. We found out that we were the same age. I was being friendly, asking him questions about his hobbies and stuff. Then he started calling me 'babe' and I got really scared. He introduced me to all of his friends in a convo and said I was his girlfreind! Now, he's asking for my photo! I said no but he won't give in! I'm sooooooooo scared!

Then just quit talking to him. No big deal. As long as he doesn't know where you live, what can he do?

Hi

First off sweety , you never give your name to anyone in chat rooms and you never get personal . Last but not least you never know who is on the other side of the computer that you are talking to .

Yes it is true that they cannot do any physical harm but if you find that this person is overwhelming you , logg off .

Be careful

sounds like an older guy or a loser. Put him on ignore and quit talking to him. Be careful, you never know what you are getting on the net. Don't ever give out any information!!!! Tell your parents if he continues to bug you.

Tell your parents and remove him. He is not 13. He is probably in his 40's. This is dangerous for you. Don't contact or speak to him again. Also do not agree to IM anyone you do not know.

If your not comfortable with any of these contacts just delete them. Most IM's have a blocking function to keep people you don't want to speak to away. Never be afraid to do what you need to do to protect yourself.

don't talk to this guy anymore. it is possible that he is your age but more likely than not he is a pedafile(child molester) it could be very dangerous, don't ever tell people anything personal about you even if they send you pictures and they look alright, cuz most likely they are fake pics. please be careful and don't ever agree to meet anyone.
