Adding alcohol to this sensitive med. will reduce its effect, and will probably make you feel nauseous also.
Give the grog a miss for now and allow it to heal your ailment.

Never take alcohol with medicines, especially antibiotics! Although some doctors say that you can have a glass if the antibiotic is taken at least an hour before you consume alcohol, I try not to do that. It lessens the effect of the medicine and may even cause poisoning.

You should not drink when taking any presrciption meds. Yes lots of people do drink when they take meds but you shouldn't drink alcohol at all when on medication.
