I hate to break it to everybody but tea contains less than half the caffiene of a cup of coffee. Green tea however is Caffiene free and has many good benifits because it is loaded with antioxidants.

I don't know where you're from and if you have access to a really good tea shop. I'm assuming you buy the manafactured boxes of tea bags at the grocery store.
Well, I have access to a really good tea shop that has a very good website. Please go to it, because they will be able to answer your question more thouroughly then I could. And you could order some tea right there on line!

Black tea has and average of 12g of caffeine per cup vs coffee at over 20g. Green tea has 4g per cup. You can purchase decaf tea at any grocery store, it is in with the teas and is usually in a different color packaging. There is a little taste variance though.

Black tea has the most caffeine, Green tea has less, and white tea has zero. But try some of the sleepytime teas, they come in variety of flavors and all teas are high in anti-oxidants.
