I'm in my 60s, widoed 2 years. I joined a few singles clubs on computer to find friends, future dares etc. The friends I found are in their 50s. Ones who want/need someone to marry are in their mid 80's. I want a loving Christian life in my 60s. I have had years of caregiving and have paid my dues. How do I attract a Christian Gent my age, preferably a Canadian, to save traveling expences?

Was married since '58. my hubby was 8 years my senior. I kept my vows no matter. I don't have a credit card to run up as the majority of clubs need.

I suggest you go with Match.Com; it has the largest following and is one of the least expensive. I am 60 and found my husband 4 years ago when we both clicked on each other at the same moment. At the time I wasn't looking for marriage, but just a compatible person to date. Religion is not really important to me, but kindness, acceptance, and ethics are. Frankly, I haven't met many religious zealots that I trust, but if you insist, why not try joining your local Church group? How about a local chapter of Habitat for Humanity if you have such a thing in Canada? What are your interests? Join a group and you may find someone that way. Do you ski? Snowmobile? Travel? Visit museums? Hike?
do Yoga? Take a course at a community college...maybe in investing or economics...you might find someone there...or a Bible study class, if religion interests you. There are also political activist groups or community improvement organizations. There are lots of ways to meet people...just be open and honest. Don't go to bars or clubs unless you want to meet alcoholics; afterall, you wouldn't look for peaches in an apple orchard. Divorced after 26 years of marriage, I remained single for 12 years before remarrying, but met many good friends during those years. I fixed up my 82 year-old widowed mother-in-law on Match.com and she's happier than she's been in years. Get someone to help you write a profile. Age isn't important...she's 12 years older than her male friend, but you'd never know it.

If I where in your shoes, I would be where I am now. Bible study classes of our Baptist Church are great places to meet people. Sadly there are more women then men. ~~~
I have heard a good way to meet someone, if you have a dog, go to a park and start up a conversation with another dog lover.
Oh! What a beautiful dog. What kind is it ??
I'm still blessed to have my hubby of 54 years.
Good luck to you and God bless you~~~~~~Jill

"60 is the new 40" I hear this all the time, and believe it. 60 ain't what it used to be. Embrace life, no matter your age!!

Age doesn't matter and if you are as nice as you seem then you will attract a girl for you.

You might try one of the on-line dating services e-harmony or match.com. It sure would be worth a try.
