Keep it simple....that is the best advise I ever received when it cam to birthday parties for my own kiddos.

Teddy Bears, Circus, Sesame Street, a favorite show/characters, nursery rhymes, etc etc etc....don't go too overboard with the decor. Make it special, but do not focus all your attention on that. Get a small cake for each of the birthday kids, a bigger cake for the guests and a cupcake for each of the little guests (with or without candles....for some reason little kids always want to blow out the candles....I gave everyone a cupcake with a candle and told them to make a wish for the birthday boy.....)

I would keep it simple for their first birthday. I have twin girls, they are 3 now and for their first birthday we just did the 1st birthday theme from the party store. Then for their second got a little more creative, did a hat themed party, as they LOVED hats. Then for this last party we did a Dora and Diego theme as thats what they wanted. But for their first birthday I would keep it simple or if there is something they both really like go for that.

Do they have a favorite cartoon or toy? Something they both enjoy together.. Baby Einsteins, Sesame Street, Blue's Clues, or you could do the ABC's and 123's on the cake. The party stores have some really cute themes as well.

Okay...first, they are only one year old. They don't need a real party, just family. .

Second, make it a first birthday theme. You can't ever do it again, and the "I'm One!" stuff is cute. Check out birthdayexpress.com or birthdaydirect.com.

Mother Goose. The twins can be either Raggety Anne and Andy or Jack and Jill. Have the other children dress as another nursery rhyme

Have a bonfire on your exterior. that's a relaxing, casual social gathering to easily relax and function relaxing! -Roast marshmellows/warm canine -Play video games which incorporate hide and seek for, kick the can, etc. Have a spa social gathering. that's what I did for my twelfth b-day social gathering and it became a blast! It became all abode made and did not fee lots. in case you like you're able to even get manicures. For my sister's birthday she had a pool social gathering, that's consistently relaxing with summer season. yet another theory may well be going to work out a action picture, play or something and going out to dinner. chuffed twelfth BIRTHDAY! have fun with your social gathering! :)

Pooh Bear or Backyardigans are both very young and colorful and can go either way. Both themes are pretty easy to find right now.
