from big dams ,waters falls ,and fast flowing rivers .

as well as the old water wheels that were used to grind grains (water mills)they made canals(in which the water wheel was build) from a river which returned to the river to have a constant level and flow .

in the Ocean off the Irish coast they put huge balls in the sea and they get electricity from the movement of the sea
