I have been in Asia over two years, with two brief trips home...it is difficult....but you do have the Internet. It saves my life, especially in a culture with a different language. Keep in close contact with family and friends, but do not be afraid to get out and learn new things either. Meet new people and experience new things...this is a great education. Use it. Believe me, you will be fine.

Don't do anything that reminds you of home. In fact, make a new home for yourself where you are now. Make new friends and find new places to hang out.
The only downside is you may not want to leave at the end!

Have a big cry and get it out of your system (for now) and then try and distract yourself. Sometimes it helps to talk to your parents on the phone or something, but some people find that makes them more upset.

Pictures? A phone?
Also, you could try setting up where you are to look like your home.. I've heard that works with some people.
