I keep finding things wrong with every guy i've dated since my Ex.... how do i stop comparing and start look at whats on the inside. HELP!

it depends on how you look. Being picky can be a good thing though because youre looking for a guy right for you dont change because its bad you want what your mind knows u want.

Like everything, there are limits. Being too picky can be bad there needs to be a balance. You should look more in the inside of a person than on the outside. A person could be a very beautiful person on the outside but could have the ugliest insides.

Being PICKY is a great thing if you like being ALONE. I can understand the shoe thing. I was told at a very young age that a person can tell a lot about a man by the shoes he wares and the condition those shoes are in.

Maybe you should think about how YOU are... like the kind of shoes YOU wear, the kinds of clothes you wear, your hair style, etc. The little things.
You will come to realize that those are petty things that shouldn't even matter.
We all have our preferences but being too picky over the petty things is ridiculous. You will be left with no one if you just judge the person on appearances.
So what IF you meet someone who you think is absolutely perfect.
It doesn't mean their personality will be absolutely perfect too ...

you are allowed to set standards for yourself, however the more demanding the standards are the harder it will be to find someone even close to being compatible with you. You must keep an open mind or else you will make dating impossible. i hope this helps.
