We broke up 4 months ago. It was pretty bad, he dumped me. There's hardly any closure and we completely stopped any contact. For now, i'm just keeping my faith that time will heal. What do i do with 'our stuffs'? They're all in a box, in my room, still. I want them out, yet can't bear to trash 'em in the garbage. Sending the stuffs back to him will probably remind him of the past and thus, hurt him (i dont see the point of doing that). Or sending the stuffs back may only make me look like a loser - that i'm still not over him (which is true) and he probably would have moved on (imagine the smirk on his face). Should i be dramatic and burn the stuffs by the beach with my girlfriends? hehe. What's your advise?

I would give it back. If it is anything of value he may be able to take you to court if you throw it away.

If it is his stuff, then return it. Don't give him an excuse to call you later on, or a reason to believe you are still hanging onto him or hope. He dumped you 4 months ago, so you shouldn't be hanging on still.

If it stuff that belongs to both of you, I would sell it or donate it. Don't be dramatic and burn the stuff, make some money from it.

Hold on to it. You sound like a really neat girl and someday the "Stuff" is only going to represent what a cool person you were in the realtionship and you will only remember the good times. Don't be a hater or drama princess ... it's really not worth it. Someday you will find your soul mate and be so very grateful you did not end up with that other guy!

Put the stuffs in a box, take it to a garbage bin a few miles from your house, and dump the stuffs there, and know it's gone forever. It's just stuff- it has no value.

If it will make you feel better why not.But will you regret it later?I think that you should do whatever makes you feel better. And then after wards you should go do something for yourself.Get your nails done or go have a girls day out or something.Get your mind on something that has nothing to do with your ex.Just have fun and live life to the fullest.

Give it to Goodwill or Salvation Army if any of it is usable by someone else. If it is just pictures and personal items, consider returning them (without a scene) Just politely tell him that you thought he may want them back and if he doesn't then he can do with them whatever he wants. Good luck.

For me its a 'no-no' to return it back to him you'll just let him think of you having problems of letting go or you being bitter...
I think you may have those things used with something which is dirty i.e you may use his clothes for cleaning the toilet bowl or something etc then throw it away. ..

oh i forgot, take a picture or video of it
then have the proof (pic or video) kept with a friend
So that if he'll be looking for it you may hand him the pics hahah lol

don't be the drama queen. do the mature thing. if there is something you want, keep it. If it's his, send it back and tell him you wern't sure what to do with it. Or pack it up to the attic..trust in your later years, you will enjoy reminicing through this box of "junk" that was so important to you at one time.

Return it you don't want to see it let him deal with it and you don't want drama in case you do do something to his stuff later on down the road. If you have a mutual friend have them take it to him if not then just mail it.
