Only if you live to a ripe old age.

It slowly ebbs away, you begin to die the day you are born.
We are given three score and ten (70) years, and if we have lived well we may see more.
If we live wild and careless, we see much less.
I lost a son at 21, and a daughter at 46.

However if you die while still a teen, there is plenty left to live, but it is all over.

On second thought, it may be consistant no matter if you live long.
If you live hard and fast, it is like pushing more sand to the bottom harder and faster; If you live slower the sand trickles down.
Either way when you have lived life, either slow or fast it is over.

Yes they are...It will take the sand, one grain at a time to make it to the end of it's alloted time. As with your life, you will live one day at a time until you make it to your last day to live.

I have not heard that in years. My Grandmother used to watch that. She used to watch the other one too, "The Bored and the Useless" I think it was called.
Soap Operas are such poor culture.
