Absolutely. It's called psychosomatic pain. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and placed on two heavy-duty medications for pain when all it really was was extreme anguish over the breakup of my long marriage, my ex's mental problems, my daughter running away, the loss of my job, moving out of state, etc... As soon as I was able to process all of the psychological feelings, the pain and alleged fibromyalgia symptoms went away completely. No more headaches, muscle aches, nausea, cramps, foggy thinking, depression, etc..

It is positively proven that anxiety and depression can cause physical symptoms. That's why it's really important for doctors to rule out depression before treating some illnesses or illnesses that can't be documented by lab work or scans.

Excessive crying and sniffling can lead to dry eyes and a sore nose as well. Your muscles may also tighten up and become sore.

“Worry is, and always will be, a fatal disease of the heart, for its beginning signals the end of faith. Worry intrudes on God's compassionate ability to provide. When we allow our problems to overshadow God's promises, we unknowingly, doom ourselves to a defeat that was never part of God's eternal plans. Release the regrets of yesterday, refuse the fears of tomorrow and receive instead, the peace of today.”

Yes, depression can cause physical pain. There is no reason for you to endure that pain if there is a cure for it, so get that depression in control by going to a doctor or therapist.
