Why not?!? Being a photographer, I have seen many girls asking guys out. Since the 90's, more and more girls are taking the initiative to ask the guys out. The last two weddings I shot were the girls asking the guys out. The old fashion traditions as we knew it is slowly discipating off. Today's girls can pretty much do anything they please and it would be equally ideal as if the guy did it. Ask him him out and have fun! =)

THIS is 2007 the answer to your question is YES you can ask a guy out. So here is something to try why not ask him to the movies if you are under 21 and if you aren't ask if he'd like to go for some drinks and dinner.

I have never asked a girl out because of fear of rejection. I have been with so many girls and everyone of them let me know they were interested. My wife chose me to be her future husband and we have been to together since 1988. Many girls have asked me why I slept-ed with all there friends and not them and I simply replied, I didn't know you were interested.
So, if he doesn't know your interested then to him your not. In every relationship one of the two let the other know in one shape or form that they were interested and that is just how it works. You need to grab life by the horns or it will run you over and keep going. If my wife didn't show interest that night we met we would have never gotten married or had 2 beautiful boys.

of course ask them if you are interested. There was a time that I would have said no, but Thats how I got to know my "husband". Do something casual like.. hey, im going to the movies, you want to tag along? Almost like a dutch treat thing. Then the ball is in his hands after that. Do it as friends and let him lead after that.

Yes they can, and they should. I think the whole guys asking girls thing is a bit outdated with equality between women and everything. girls just like to be the one to be asked so they feel loved. that can be kinda selfish i think.
guys asking all the time gets old. you get wondering if she really likes going on dates with you. and if she can't, you can't tell if she's just lying to avoid you. its nice to get asked to do something cuz you know they genuinely want to do something with you.

yeah of coarse is actually kinda of sweet to see a girl do that. i eish a girl would do that to me cause sometimes im the shy one. but not always. you should go for it if thats what you thinking about doing. the worse he can do is say no then yuo move on. if he says no you deserve better anyway if he says yes the there you go. good luck
