"Your friend" needs to leave his a.s.s.

HE'S MARRIED.

Let's just say he divorced his wife to be with her.
What if he just does the exact same to HER as he did his wife?

The man is ALREADY COMMITTED. And, what's worst, he has ruined your friend. Her best bet is to just walk away from it all. They both made very stupid choices that will (no matter what) cause heartache all around.
If she is truly your friend, tell her that the relationship is WRONG... make her understand that that man is absolutely no good for her and her child and in no way will he ever be able to leave the family he already has for her. He couldn't possibly ever love her...to men like that she was just "easy panties" and he got caught-up. It just isn't EVER going to happen for them as a couple.
What a stupid man she chose. Immature, disloyal and sneaking around on his wife, if he sneaks around on her, what makes anyone think he will be faithful to anyone else? (not even himself), lying to his family, messing with a very vulnerable young girl that obviously do not know about predators like this. Can you see now how dangerous it is to mess around with guys that are much older than yourself. VERY DANGEROUS. And, on top of all that, it makes her look like a slut...
As an older man he should have had enough decency to tell this young lady, who is young enough to be his daughter, how inappropriate this whole arrangement is. Your friend may need some professional help after this on.

I had a friend like this. It is almost impossible to see eye to eye on things like this. 5 years is too long to get him to commit. He doesn't have to. He gets to live a fantasy and have the family, too. There is nothing she can do to get him to commit. He's not afraid of her age when he sleeps with her. Think about it. Having sex with someone is risky business. If he was willing to commit, he would have done so. He took the risk of cheating on his wife. Commitment just isn't in the cards for this one.

Sounds like he has it pretty good and has no intentions on leaving his marriage if its been 5 yrs they have been messing around! maybe she needs to tell him to take a hike until he can figure out what he wants. Why is she dating a married man anyways, she needs to go find her own man and let him deal with the family he CHOSE to begin with!

I hate to sound horrible, but if he has not left his wife for her, he isn't going to. Yes, he may like her and care about her, but he also has unattached sex and that is not fair to his wife. And she should also think that she isn't that special, if he is cheating on his wife, then she will most likely be cheated on and also, she may already not be the only one. A guy who can't be honest is not a good guy anyway.

He is committed. Sort of. To his wife and family, not her.

She's in a bad spot. It would be better for her to cut her losses now and find someone else.
