If you don't believe in Jehovah you have that right because you were created with the gift of free will. We are a beautiful creation and when you see a Baby grow inside a Woman that is so precious !!! It's so obvious to see that an intelligent mind is behind that. DNA is amazing, we are all different and made in Jehovah's image. Jesus is Jehovah's Son who sits at his Fathers right hand in the heavens. Don't be so quick to say there is no GOD, please don't sell yourself short. Man has dominated man to his injury with what they think is truth when the Bible explains why we are here and what our hope is for the future. It's funny how man can live to be 100 or 120 years old and be considered an expert at what they think they know. But Jehovah God has always been and what HE teaches us in the scriptures and through his Son Jesus is for our best interest. What are your thoughts?

I know what a cult is but do you? Jehovah's Witnesses are not a cult. Our Kingdom Halls are open all over the earth for everyone to come. Cults work behind closed doors like Heavens Gate or Waco.
We go door to door all over the world and invite anyone to our Kingdom Halls that would like to come. We are Jehovah's Witnesses. Would God really allow a religion to be named after his own personal name if he wasn't with them?

Gnostic, why do you say that God's name is not Jehovah? Any Dictionary if you look up GOD it says Jehovah. Jesus made that name known in the scriptures also.
Read John Chapter 17. Jesus made his Fathers name known not his own.

Many people are deceived into thinking that Jesus is God, although the Bible calls Jehovah the Most High. Ps. 83:18. Jesus called his Father the only true God at John 17:3. Jesus never claimed equality with his Father, saying at John14:28: "The Father is greater than I am."

At John 20:17, Jesus said that he worshiped the same God as his followers, saying at John 20:17: "I am ascending to MY Father and your Father and to MY God and your God.

"Would God really allow a religion to be named after his own personal name if he wasn't with them?"

The Bible tells us that many will say here is Christ or there is Christ (Did not the Watchtower tell us this in 1914 when they said the worldly governments WOULD come to an end but after the fact, they changed it to will begin to come to an end) We are even told that satan comes as an angel of light so it certainly is not beyond the possibility of using God's name and to not know GOD. One has only to look at what Jesus said about those who felt they were "God's chosen organization of HIS time...the Pharisee's to see self proclamation does not make it so.

Many will accept the Antichrist as Jesus Himself and even the Watchtower does when they state that the person on the white horse in Revelation 6:2 is Jesus Christ although it is the Antichrist.

The Watchtower has even admitted that "Jehovah" is not the correct name for God, that Yahweh is most likely correct but by the time they found this out, they had already spent millions of dollars proclaiming Jehovah was HIS name so they sure could not say...opps we goofed could they?

As far as John 17:3 goes....the New World version which was not translated from the original language as no one on the translation committee knew the original languages (as proven in a court of law) states that we obtain eternal life by "gaining knowledge" of God. Well, satan knows more about God then any of us will ever know in our life time...does he have eternal life? The BIBLE tells us in this verse that we have eternal life when we KNOW GOD.....not by gaining knowledge of HIM.

A child is given life when they are born, they are not giving life when they learn their parents names. They also have a RELATIONSHIP with their parents the moment they are born, not when they learn who they are. WE too have a relationship with GOD the moment we accept HIS terms of salvation...You can find these terms in the link below.

Remember, the Watchtower give 4 or 5 conditons for salvation one of which is belonging to their organization (one sign of a cult) The Bible gives ONE....believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST and you WILL be saved. (John 3:16 and Act 16:31)

God has many names:

HE IS: Jehovah-shalom,
Jehovah-shammah,
Jehovah-tsidenu,
Jehovah-jirah,
Jehovah-rapah,
Jehovah-nissi and more.

A search of the WT website shows nothing regarding these names

belief in God, seems pretty universal over centuries and cultures. Exactly which belief system gets folks worked up. Like most Christians don't regard Jehovah's Witnesses any higher than a cult. Is that what you are really trying to get to?

Jehovah is the creator, correct!

However, His father, Elohim, is the almighty.

Jehovah of the old Testament is Jesus Christ.

Look closely at the extraction of Elohim, and Allah and also Eloi as uttered by Jesus from the cross at His darkest hour.

"And when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which means, "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?" ... And Jesus uttered a loud cry, and breathed His last. And the curtain of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And when the centurion, who stood facing Him, saw that He thus breathed His last, he said, "Truly this man was the Son of God!" (Mark 15:33-34,37-39 RSV)

I love Jehovah's Witnesses but 'Jehovah' is not the name of God. God really has no name.
Just like 'Allah' which is not the name of God but the name of an ancient Pagan idol.

(Psalm 10:4) The wicked one according to his superciliousness makes no search; All his ideas are: “There is no God.”

(Psalm 14:1) The senseless one has said in his heart: “There is no Jehovah.”

(Psalm 53:1) The senseless one has said in his heart: “There is no Jehovah.”

Sounds like a Jehovah complex to me. Of all the chapter and verse to quote you probably have cited the least relevant one for today.
