I have personally dealt with this kind of person. It has taken me awhile to finally say I've moved on. It's better to talk to him in person so when you send him a text just ask him to meet you somewhere because you have something to get off your chest. If he truly still loved you he wouldn't put you through the heart break of having to hook up and then nothing else come from it. I've been in that position and it really hurts. And if he broke up with you but says he wants to try again later, then whats to say if you do go back out that he won't want to try things later again? I would just discuss how you feel about this to him and if he can't understand you then I would just walk away.

I know this is easy for me to say, and hard for you to take, but you need to get over him, no mater how hard it is. It is the most common guys excuse, i am not ready to have a relationship, i am afraid to get hurt. No he does not. And if he says he "loves" you, then that would be no question at all if he wants a relationship, or not. Love is about actions, not words, by his actions i don't think he does. Plus do you really think you can relay on this person in the future? Where is the guarantee, that even if you will get back 2gether when he is "ready", he won't do it again, and maybe in hard in life for you moment? He simply does not deserve you. Do not sent him a text, and do not hook up wiTh him again, because the more you show him you care, th less he is going to care for you. I can promise you on that. the less you show him you care, his ego will be bothered, so he will try to fix it somehow, by getting your attention somehow. Well, in conclusion, no mater how hard it is for you, i have to forget about him.

Personally, i think this guy is selfish... for his own comfortability, both of u broke up, still because he's 'so-called' reasons u still have to wait for him? A reasonable, matured man would tell the lady to move on her life and do what she needs to do instead of holding u back. Then when there is fate or maybe next couple years u both still miss each other than u both shall get back together, thats fair! How could he hold u back like that? How many years of your current age do u have?
Well to me the message will go this way:
'I believe my life have to move on.. I believe when there's fate we could actually meet or be together again.. where else for now.. u might need your space that much, but i can't be holding back for your reasons you have.. how much time do u need and how fair it is to me, i'm not sure.. i know u still love me.. but i shall leave it to fate. I am going through the same thing but we were together 7 years and she tells me she doesnt love me any more and that she has moved on. the only thing that is helping so far is time...is been three weeks i been going through hell but it helps
