Joan of Arc was only 19 years old when she was tied to a post and burned alive in flames. Why did God allow such a horrible thing to happen?

Well, it is kinda hard to stop these things when you are nothing more than some people's imagination.
why don't people realize that they are wasting their time? This so called God seems pretty ruthless to me.

Because man made God in his own image. In other words there is no God beyond what we as humans imagine. It is the work of man that killed Joan of Arc, the work of the power of the corrupted church, and in the name of God. There is no God, never has been, never was. That is the reason you are looking for, whether it is because of your contentious nature, or because you need some form or redemption for thinking God to be a myth. Well he is.

Because earth is only a temporary place for the christian and because she would be better of with Him. A better question would be why did He let His son die at the cross? The roman soldiers even dared Jesus to save himself if He was God. Because He loved us sinners so.Because for many, we see only this life, not the good that is awaiting us when we're gone.

It was a political deal done with the Dauphin of France's knowledge and acceptance. He would not negotiate for her release after she did everything she did for France. The English were just in it for the insult against France. It was all political.

The Church is as much human as she is divine (sort of Incarnational - but - with an ability to sin). Yes, Jean d'Arc was a saint. It was a mistake, and - it was repented of and she was canonized.

it was not the will of God that condemed her but the will of men, Gpd willnot interfere withmans actions, he has said that several times and actions of one man may affect another
