I had a boyfriend for 2 years, we decided to break up becuz we wanted a little independance from eachother, and to stregthen our friendship.

Of course.
A great friendship is the way to a great love.
It is the best foundation you can have for a relationship.
My boyfriend and I were friends for a long time before we started dating. And now we've been together for over a year.
Plus, I'm still friends with both my ex's. Nothing wrong with that.
Although I still feel that a part of them still likes me.
But they haven't said anything about that. It's okay!

It's near impossible to go from Boyfriend/Girlfriend to just friends, because someone will always end up having feelings. So no, I dont't think it would work. Would you want him talking to you and asking for advice on how to win over another girl, after two years? Doubt it.

i think it really depends on the people?but usually after having a relationship of boyfriend , and girlfriend, it usually dint work, for some reasons we tent to think we still own each-other, its hard to stop doing even when we break up, it really takes special people to pull off what you want to do, because in end you'll lose a boyfriend and a friend.sorry but that's what i see.

Yes it most def can work. I am friends with a couple of my ex's and one of which is an ex fiance of mine. I am married now with 2 children but we are all still good friends.

I say no I have lots of guy friends but they have all told me that I guy always has in the back of their mind that they one day could have a chance with you. Watch when Harry met Sally it is so true.

IT depends how much u want it to work. i've made exes into friends. and only one lasted, but we are best friends now so it depends on whether or not ur relationship as friends is strong.

I have two male friends and we are just friends, so yes!, but is a little harder when you have had a relationship with thm previously I think

I think it is possible...I have a couple of guy friends...that I used to date.
It has to be a mutual agreement tho, it definately can not be one sided.
