Try echinacea spray. Its a natural herbal remedy that I have used successfully for years. You can find it at Whole Foods stores or your local Co-op. Good luck

baby girl why don't you want to see a Doc? it could be strep throat. There are numerous people who have had it and didn't realize it until they were almost deathly ill. go to a clinic or somewhere. I can tell you warm salt water-can help. there are hundreds of sore throat sprays like Chloraseptic. But I wish you would go to the doctor. If it is an infection which you will see some yellow mucous either from your nose or cough, then a doctor is the only answer. We can not cure infections on our own. I don't care what anybody tells you. If you see yelllow discharge it's infection-see a Doc-Please. Godd luck Friend, and hope it's nothing terrible, but you'll never know until your are checked by a professional.

Slippery Elm root is also effective for many people as a natural way to sooth the throat and ease coughing, if you have that. A sore throat is not necessarily an infection. It could be environmentally based or maybe you were yelling too loud at a party recently... :-)

Sore throat is usually due to a viral infection. Gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash can reduce the pain and inconvenience. You can find some good home remedies at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html

Whenever I feel a sore throat coming on, I gargle with hydrogen peroxide for a couple of days. I've convinced myself that it kills all of the bacteria.
