You can't convert volumes to areas.

You could, however, find the surface area of a volume, by adding all the areas of the sides of the volume.

You cannot make a direct conversion from volume to area mathematically.
However you can take a 1^3m block of gold (or pizza dough) and flatten it into thin sheets having a large area, depending on the thickness.

No, but you could convert cubic meters into cubic feet.
