It is called diplomacy

Buying peace to you and me, for a brief time until he starts again.

It is cheaper than a war.

The Vet issue you are referring to is appalling, and it isn't just the only place, it happens to Vets all over the US

If you visit www. military.com you can visit their Vets page and see for yourself at there woeful treatment they receive and its not just the boys and girls coming home now. It has been neglected by successive governments for decades.

I guess you would rather have war with North Korea than to have peace right?. The government is playing it smart more than you know. Trillion of dollars had already been spent on the Iraq War. If a war with North Korea breaks out, another trillions of dollars would be needed, not to mention the thousands of American lives that would be lost. So don't you think 300 million is a good bargain than spending trillions into another war?. And where the needed money to finance the North Korean war will come from?. Borrow again from China?. Don't tell me that the government should spend more than it can afford. Your grandchildren might still be paying for America's foreign debt even after you're long dead.

During the Clinton years, there was basically the same plan in place. We gave them aid in exchange for no-fly zones, sanctions, and suppression of weapons research and building. But then Bush disregarded the agreement, and stopped the aid. N. Korea then started weapons research and building. So, it is logical, that if we go back to the same plan, they will stop their weapons research and building.

What you mean Bush flip flopped?? Bush and the US got what we wanted, for them to dismantle their nuclear program. And once they prove they have not, we will stop the aid payments, which you know will happen.

Bush flip flopped again.

Bush caved and gave them a Clintonesque deal that gives more and requires less. Ask John Bolton.
