well he may not like you "guy" if he is a guy he is probably jellouse because there is another"man" to take you away from him.

if it is a girl she could still be jealouse as well.she may have liked it when you were alone and she got all the attention from you.

it could be that every time you greet he/she it isn't in the mood.

you may want to try giving it treats.giving it more attention.setting long periods of time with your boyfriend and let the cat get used to you.sit down on the couch and have you boyfriend sit next to you,get you cat start petting it and let you boyfriend pet it and once it lays down just keep stroking it while you guys talk.it should help.

Love bites! Kitties tenderly bite and lick when they're playful and that's a way of showing their affection.

Just being in the same room that you are in, regardless of if he is rubbing up against you is a sign that he loves you.

My cat has to ALWAYS be in the same room that either me or my boyfriend are in. If we're in the bedroom and she's napping, but then we leave to the living room, she wakes up and comes and takes a nap in the living room. It's very sweet in a really quiet subtle way.

My cat does little things to show love.
He calls me when I am at work to say hello, but not enough to be a pest. My cat always remembers my birthday, anniversaries, and holidays like Valentine's Day with thoughtful and loving gestures and gifts.
He cheerfully helps around the house. The whole house will be dusted, vacuumed, with laundry done, trash taken out. and the grass mowed. I often come home to a completely clean and spotless home.
Several times a week he'll have a hot and delicious meal waiting for me when I arrive home after a long day at work. Sometimes, he'll just make reservations at our favorite restaurants.
My cat will draw hot bubble baths for me, give long and gentle massages. He loves to take me out dancing.
My cat is always thoughtful, supportive, affectionate, and charming when we are alone and when my friends are present.
I think he loves me.

My cat shows his love by always needing to be close to me. He hugs me and gives "kisses" on my face. He purrs the instant I touch him. My other cat isn't very cuddly at all. But he loves me anyway. If your cat doesn't run from you, hissing, spitting and clawing, he loves you. He's just not social!

Cats can get deppressed very easily. Your cat may be depressed but no matter what he still loves you. Just give him alot of attention and he should get better. Actually, cats are prone to be selfish and act like they hate you when they really don't. So please don't worry! Cats just have little attitudes sometimes!

My last cat was extremely affectionate. she curled up in lap and watched TV with me all the time. Some cats are just independent.

He head-butts me and likes to curl up next to me. He is not a lap kitty (yet).

If you go away on a vacation for a few days (leaving plenty of food and water, of course), I bet you will see some affection on your return!

Some cats just seem to have that "Cattitude" and there's nothinig you can do to change it unfortunately.

Sometimes they will give you kitty kisses though...it looks just like a headbutt when you're petting them but that's what we call it!

cat is very affable. you can notice it whether it loves you. when the cat is around you it will rub its face against your leg and want to sit on your lap. if you don't allow it to do so, then it will continue to scratch its face against anything around it to notice you. Also you should notice the sound it makes.
