Lately my cat started chewing my plastic shower curtain so I have little teeth/bite marks all down the side of it. Why would he do this all of a sudden?

I'm totally honest & serious when I say cats are weird. Our cats randomly do all kinds of weird things like that out of nowhere. We have one cat who carries dirty socks from the laundry room & leaves them in different places around the house. Wouldn't worry about it. :)

it just probably is bored and wants something to do, or it's hungry, or it's missing something in it's diet. maybe some new toys or just putting the curtain out of the reach of the cat will help.

well it may seem funny to the cat. it may like the feeling of the shower curtain against its teeth.it could be hyper...my cat does this when it is hyper.it is funny.but there are many reason.if it is bothering you while your taking a shower keep the cat out of the room and teh door locked....my cat can open doors so i have to lock them it is so cute haha.

Well, I think he might be bored and want's something to do, maybe get him some toys he could play with, and if he till chews on the shower curtins, then get a spray bottle of water , and spray him and say no, bad kitty.

It might be nothing. But sometimes kitties (and people) will start eating strange things if there is something missing with their nutrition. You might want to have your kitty checked for thyroid problems and similar trouble.
