It isn't the status of married or single, but how my dependents you claim on your W2's. 0 being the highest amount of taxes that would be taken out.

Goto a site called paycheckcity.com and they have a claculator that will allow you to model different paycheck senarios.

Go to irs.gov and search for Circular E.

Compare weekly, bi-weekly, bi-monthly, etc. withholdings based on your weekly, bi-weekly, etc., income.
