Obviously because women only date jerks. Why else?
We see that all of the nice guys get left at home dateless because all of the girls think that they are boring, and that all of the hot women are chasing after & fighting each other over the self-centered jerks, and we put two and two together.

Everyone is in their own way. Some are just worse than others, and there's usually some psychological complications as to why.
For example, I tend to correct people a lot. I've been trying to do the best I can with that, though. It's not something I can get rid of completely, but it is something I can control in some way.
There might be a reason behind why you'd ask this question, but I can't tell you much else without any more details given.

I agree SOME guys are jerks, but so are SOME girls.
Generally girls are more sensitive and all that, so when a guy is just being brutally honest...they come off as "jerks".
Also if you are thinking about one guy in particular being a jerk to you...reevaluate the situation from his point of view...was it a situation that was a first for him, did he really know how to deal with it, did you?
Also Hun you have to consider our society...males are brought up to be "tough" and part of the being "macho" is not caring what other people think about them, especially not girls.
Just look at any situation from every ones point of view, and you will better understand why they acted the way that they did.
