I am a very fair skinned redhead. Sunblock itself has a burning sensation when I put it on my face. I also trn red easily. I turn red from taking hot baths or showers, laughing, crying, irritation from the elements. You can push a hand pr finger into my skin and it leaves a red spot. I'm just like that. I don't think it's unusual.

the reason why you go red face when exercising is because of blood collecting at the surface. This happens as the body is trying to cool off. If you find it difficult to sweat? Then your skin is suffering from insuffient sweat glands in the skin, because the body is unable to offload the heat through sweat, blood will enter blood vessels just below the surface of the skin in a bid to counteract your increasing core temperature. Thus giving you a red complexion. Can anything been done! Answer No! it sounds like you have mild problem. Put on plenty of sun cream on for those really hot sunny days. Bye

A doctor will tell you have Rosacea, but they are wrong. Your redness(or erythema) is cause by heat and "heat of the sun" and suntan lotions will only make your face more red. The oils in suntan lotion trap in heat. Sorry, but you need to strictly avoid heat and sun for about two years for your face to heal. The reason your skin is red from exercising is that the skin has been thinned(atrophy). You will get a red face from exercise, spicy foods, alcohol, cold weather, sitting under hot lights, etc until your skin heals. Spray a mist of cool water on your skin from a water bottle when your face gets hot.

The blood vessels near the surface of your skin widens to allow more blood to flow. this is a method used by the body to cool down.

Do a search for Rosacea and see if the symptoms are the same as what you're having.
