me and my girlfriend have been togather for a long time....right now we are at the point to where our parents will let both of us go to each others houses alone if we ask...does this mean they trust us? or are they testing us? or what?

It depends on your ages I think, but by the sound of it I am thinking you are young about 16 or 17. Them allowing you two to spend some time alone tells me that both of your parents are trusting. However, do not fool yourself into thinking that they aren't testing you at the same time. Believe it or not parents do realize that hormones do rage at your age and that things are going to happen. It will be up to you as the male to ensure that you keep her best interests in mind and if necessary get yourself some protection.

It really depends on the situation between you and your parents and her and her parents. Since they have started letting you see each other alone then, it could be they trust you or testing you or a combination of both, Parents want to see and know that what their children are doing is what they say their are doing because sometimes parents don't want their kids to make the same mistake that they made when they were your age and just want the best for you but have to know that sooner or later they have to let you be adults and let you make choices for yourself and learn from you mistakes.

It's definately trust because my parents will let me go over my ex's house and stay the night no questions asked, but my bf not any time soon. My ex is like a brother now.

This means that they trust you... don't ruin that by doing something that will make your parents feel that they have made a stupid mistake by trusting you... It takes a very long time to gain trust back... so don't blow it!!!!

i think it means that they trust you and they hope that you wont do anything that they dont want you to do-so dont ruin it by getting caught doing something that youre not supposed to do while they are not there....you dont want to lose their trust. or they could just not care what you do-some parents are just like that

well it could be both, but in either one you should make sure that you behave in a way that they would find acceptable because you don't want to give them any reason why you two should not be let alone with one another.

Sounds like your parents trust the two of you being together. Don't betray the trust they have in you.

Either they trust you to do the right thing, or they don't care what you do.
If it is trust, you better not blow it.
Believe me, don't do it. The temptation to experiment is too great.
