I have never found things to be cheaper in HK than any where else in the world. I live in Shanghai and travel all over Asia. I am way too cynical. I buy all my shoes (and other things) when I am on home leave in the USA. If I found a cheaper shoe, I would automatically think they were counterfeits. If you are a runner it is not worth the gamble. If you just want a nike swoosh on the side, then you pay your money, you take your chances. I would never buy them. I buy fake DVD's or music CD-s. For everything else, accept no substitutes. HK custom tailors are another story. Very good quality is available and is reasonably priced. Enjoy HK is a great city.

You go to Hong Kong it will be cheaper but watch out for counterfeits also.
