hello, im a 13 y/o guy im kinda big (not fat, well a bit,), i play lacrosse for a team im vice capt :) very pleased. I wanted to start running to increase my stamina so that i would be able to play better and harder, of course to get fit aswell, ive never gone running or anything before.
i was wondering if anyone has like any tips or anything about how to go running without looking like a weirdo because i probs would.. but does anyone have any words of wisdow (advice), thanks

well u have to start slow then start increasing the velocity u dont want to run as fastest as u can because u will get tired, practice a lot,drink a lot of water, use shorts u dont want to use pants u would get hotter and it will decease ur velocity.

Running will definitely help you with your speed & stamina in lacross. Check out the plan & tips below for help. Start out gradually...don't try to do too much too soon. This way you'll be able to build up endurance without getting injured or burning out. Best of luck!

since u r a beginner try running a mininmum of 15 mins daily in the morning, in a park or sumthing,later u can increase the duration, after u r comfortable with more than 15 mins, while running u shudn't breathe in and out frm ur mouth at all, try breathing frm ur nose, and keep ur mouth closed, and u think u hav prob looking like a wierdo running, well wear a track suit or sumthing and listen to sum nice tunes while running, i don't think u will look like a wierdo then

start slowly... 10 miles/15km a week is fine
increase by < 10% per week
ask your PE teacher for tips

runners world has a great beginners program that combines walking and running to start with.
