I think long with layers and bangs.
You could use hairstyles software to find out what suits you before getting it cut

Long, Flat and straight is not for you because you have a long oval shaped face... (If that is you?) and it seems to me that it is dragging it downward?
How are your ears? Maybe pulled back in a chinoi? Or the Eva Longoria puffy Pony?
I think you need a little height on top? Maybe some Layers? Unfortunately the sleek and super straight look doesn't work on everyone? If you have to go straight and flat... How about sweeping it to the side across your forehead to break up the length of your face and give the illusion of height?
Maybe revert back to "The Rachel." from Friends... I always like that and believe it should be timeless...

You look like you have a somewhat narrow and long face shape. I would stay away from long straight hair because it will accentuate that. Try some bangs--angled and with a side part. Waves or curls would look good on you, but try not to get too much height or volume on top, since that will make your face seem too long.

I would keep the length. Go with some shorter layers, not too short. Also I would do long sweeping bangs. It seems like you have a longer face, so this website shows photos with people like your face shape.

You want a style that will add volume to the sides of your face.
Full bodied face-framing layers, or a short a-line bob with straight bangs might work for you. Your hair texture also needs to be taken into consideration.
Bangs cut straight across generally add width. Side swept bangs add length.

i think of your hair seems lovable how this is now. yet once you opt for a metamorphosis, i like the cut back your friends picked. and that i think of the type has an analogous face shape, so it is going to look stable on you too. i will supply you with a warning however, I easily have trouble with my ends flipping too, and this undertaking gets worse the shorter I cut back my hair. it may no longer be the comparable for you, yet make advantageous your stylist is conscious this is a undertaking so he or she would be in a position to objective to cut back your hair so it is going to turn much less. stable success. i'm advantageous notwithstanding you do will seem great.

A longer hair cut that softly caresses the cheeks as it hangs enticely down past them.

long layered cut, having some strands around your face. I would say have layers that start about your chin and layers through out.

I think long layers that frame your face would work with your face shape.
